Solutions Engineer / Architect / PIM Lead

Ntara is looking for a Solutions Engineer (SE) with a high drive for client-centricity and an expert technical consultant in Product Experience management (PXM).   The ideal candidate will have a working knowledge of PIM, DAM and Ecommerce systems for driving digital transformation for our clients.  Ntara needs a team player that can lead and collaborate cross-functionally across multiple departments to deliver award winning work for our stellar roster of clients. 

As a Senior Solutions Architect, you must have the ability to plan and document large scale digital transformation projects for our clients. The systems you build will reside on content management systems, product information systems, digital asset management systems and ecommerce platforms. A successful Solutions Engineer at Ntara will demonstrate proficiency in all aspects of the digital ecosystem. 

  

This job can be remote.  Most of our staff is based in Johnson City, Tennessee, US which is located in the GMT-5 time zone. Applicants must be able to work 8:30am – 5:30pm East Coast US Time Monday – Friday. 

  

What you’ll own 

• Build relationships with clients and assist new business and accounts teams through pre-sales post sales engagements.

• Work closely with the new business and accounts team.

• Act as a lead consultant to understand client’s goals, workflows, and processes.

• Use your deep system knowledge to drive system strategy.

• Work closely with client teams to prioritize and build the digital roadmap and inform long-range planning.

• Run systems improvement projects. Work directly with system users to collect requirements, implement, test, and deploy new features periodically.

• Problem-solving

• Documentation and planning for client solutions.

• Support for PIM systems, ecommerce websites, digital asset management platforms and possibly other applications.

• Interviewing stakeholders to dig into what they really are trying to convey.

• Diagrams of complex systems, business processes, and integrations.

• Schema-level documentation to detail the attributes the systems need to track.

• Attribute mappings between systems for integrations.

• Requirements gathering and writing.

• Writing and designing technical specifications.

• Ensuring quality deliverables for our clients.

• Develop process improvements with a seasoned team.

• Template development to improve and standardize processes.

• Change management for customers and possibly our own team.

• Ability to train others on processes and new approaches.

• Ability to manage a cross functional team.

  

Preferred experience 

• Experience in a consulting environment preferred.

• Product Information Management (PIM) platform experience, such as inRiver, Akeneo, Salsify, etc

• Experience analyzing large sets of data

• Experience in Systems Architecture

• Proven leadership capabilities

• Master Data Management (MDM) experience

• Ecommerce platform experience

• Ecommerce implementation, deployment, and integrations

• Knowledge of multi-tier web application development

• Content Management System (CMS) experience

• Knowledge of how to implement 3rd party APIs and SDKs

• Writing and interacting with SOAP and REST web services

• Knowledge of ASP.NET C#

• Familiarity with Azure infrastructure and hosting

• Must be comfortable managing billable and non-billable hours expectations.
