Jason Pinto

VP Research Engineering at Ntrepid

As VP, Research Engineering, Jason leads a team of the most senior engineers at Ntrepid, taking research initiatives from our R&D teams and transitioning those concepts into innovative products. He partners with internal and external stakeholders to identify critical business needs and customer requirements and synthesizes those requirements into a research plan and initial product design and roadmap. A critical component of this work is identifying research topics that are ready to be developed and using customer and domain knowledge of what it takes to create sustainable software to see a new product concept through to its initial deployment.

Jason has been working in the DoD and national security community for nearly 20 years, primarily in cybersecurity and open source intelligence (OSINT) areas. He has also done a few brief stints at other companies, including a startup that conducted crowdfunding for restaurants. Jason has a BS in Computer Science from Carnegie Mellon and a MS in Computer Science from Johns Hopkins.
