Iago G. Vargas

Iago G. Vargas is a data scientist with extensive experience in Natural Language Processing (NLP) and machine learning. Currently employed at Nubank since July 2024, Iago previously held senior roles at Zup Innovation and IBM, focusing on developing machine learning models for text understanding and classification in the financial sector. Prior experience includes creating analytics solutions and predictive models at Mundiale, an ML Engineer internship at N2F, and a software engineering internship at Algar Telecom. Iago has a Master's degree in Artificial Intelligence and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from the Universidade Federal de Uberlândia, complemented by studies at Université Claude Bernard Lyon 1 and a Technician degree in Business Administration from SENAC MG.
