Hussain Sheikh

Fractional CTO at NuBinary

Hussain Sheikh has a diverse work experience spanning different industries and roles. Hussain started their career as a Test Software Developer at Curtiss Wright Controls in 2010. Hussain then worked as a Software Developer at Magnum Semiconductor, where they developed a simulation engine for video processing systems. At Exinda Networks, they transitioned to web development and worked on network bandwidth segmentation and optimization appliances.

In 2012, Hussain co-founded Alitus Medical and served as the Co-Founder and CTO. Hussain developed a lower extremity exoskeleton for the rehabilitation of cerebral palsy patients.

Hussain then joined ExciteM as the Chief Technology Officer in 2014 and led the development of audience engagement tools for media companies. Hussain later became the Director of Software Engineering at Grass Valley, where they worked on the development of a live streaming SaaS product.

In 2022, Hussain joined Digital Joy as the Chief Technology Officer, where they designed and architected the next iteration of the live streaming product. Hussain managed multiple product teams and performed product demos to close deals with resellers and customers. However, the company decided to outsource R&D and product design efforts, making their role unnecessary.

Currently, Hussain is working as a Fractional CTO at NuBinary since 2022.

Hussain Sheikh obtained their Bachelor of Applied Sciences degree in Mechatronics Engineering from the University of Waterloo between the years 2008 and 2013.
