Elizabeth Cowell

Elizabeth Cowell has a strong background in finance, with over 20 years of experience in various roles. Elizabeth is currently the Head of Finance at Nuffield Health, a position they have held since January 2020. Prior to that, they worked at Marks and Spencer for over 12 years, starting as a Senior Finance Manager and eventually becoming the Head of Finance for Foods. Before their time at Marks and Spencer, Elizabeth worked as a Retail Finance Manager at Pentland Brands. Elizabeth began their career as a Finance Analyst at J Sainsbury PLC and worked as an Auditor at Andersen. Their experience spans across different industries, providing their with a well-rounded skillset in finance.

Elizabeth Cowell obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Mathematics and Geography joint honors from Newcastle University from 1996 to 1999. Prior to attending university, they attended St Georges School for Girls in Edinburgh, although no degree was obtained there.
