Shawna Kosakowski is an experienced educator and mental health professional currently serving as an Adjunct Professor in the MSW Program at the University of Pittsburgh since January 2013. Additionally, Shawna has been an Outpatient Therapist at Nulton Diagnostic and Treatment Center since March 2012. Previous roles include Social Worker positions at SeniorLIFE Johnstown, Supportive Solutions, Inc., and Somerset Hospital, as well as a Supports Coordinator at Cambria County BH/ID. Shawna holds a Master of Social Work degree from the University of Pittsburgh and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from PennWest Edinboro.
Nulton Diagnostic & Treatment Center
Nulton Diagnostic and Treatment Center (NDTC) was founded in 1995. The goal was to provide high quality mental health services without regard of ability to pay. Nulton Diagnostic and Treatment Center became licensed as an outpatient psychiatric clinic in early 2000's and also received JCAHO accreditation. NDTC provides mental health care for all age ranges. Services include Outpatient Psychiatry with medication management, Telepsychiatry, Blended Case Management, Family Based Mental Health, Partial Hospitalization and Therapy.
