Brooke Thompson

Brooke Thompson has a long and varied work experience in the tech industry. Brooke began their career in 1999 as an Associate Producer at eGroups. In 2000, they joined Yahoo! as an Interaction Designer, where they were promoted to Senior Interaction Designer and then Senior Design Manager. In 2006, they were promoted again to Senior Director, Product Design, where they led a team of 30 designers and prototypers for Yahoo! Communications, Community + Front Page. In 2014, they joined Walmart Labs as Senior Director, User Experience, and in 2017 they became Head Of Design + Research at Nuna Inc., where they focused the company resources on the value-based care platform and lead and contributed to initial platform concepts. Additionally, they have been a Kleiner Perkins Design Council Member since 2013 and a VP of Design at Luvocracy since 2012.

Brooke Thompson attended The Hockaday School from 1990 to 1995, where they studied Physics and Spanish literature. Brooke then attended Stanford University from 1995 to 1999, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Symbolic Systems - HCI.
