Lori Qanak

Lori Qanak is an experienced professional in social services and policy analysis, currently serving as a Junior Policy Analyst at Nunavut Arctic College since September 2020. Prior to this role, Lori worked for the Government of Nunavut in various capacities, including Return to Work Consultant and Child and Youth Advocacy Specialist. Lori's early career involved significant roles as a Child and Youth Social Worker and Case Aide with the Department of Family Services, focusing on family support in Baker Lake, Rankin Inlet, and Arviat. Additionally, Lori completed multiple practicums in mental health and social services while obtaining a Community Social Service Worker Diploma from Nunavut Arctic College. Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Commerce in Indigenous Business at Athabasca University, Lori combines educational qualifications with extensive practical experience in social work and policy development.
