Michael Sacco Jr. has worked in the food industry since 2005. Michael began their career as a Deli Supervisor at Costco Wholesale in 2005. In 2010, they moved to McDonald's Corporation as an Assistant Restaurant Manager. In 2011, they became an Assistant Store Manager at Oberweis Dairy. In 2013, they were hired as a HACCP Coordinator at Butterball, LLC. In 2014, they were hired as a Quality Assurance Supervisor at West Liberty Foods. In 2016, they were hired as a Quality Assurance Manager at PREFERRED MEALS SYSTEMS, INC., where they also held the role of Quality Assurance Supervisor. In 2020, they were hired as a Director of Food Safety & Quality Assurance at E-Z Spuds, Inc. and as a Quality Assurance Manager at Mistica Foods, LLC. In 2022, they were hired as a Food Safety & Quality Assurance Manager at Nurture Life.

Michael Sacco Jr. obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) in Hospitality Administration/Management from Robert Morris University - Illinois between 2006 and 2008. Michael also earned an Associate of Applied Science (A.A.S.) in Culinary Arts/Chef Training from College of DuPage between 2004 and 2006. Additionally, they have obtained certifications in Implementing SQF Systems from the SQF Institute (October 2017), HACCP Food Safety from Food Safety and Quality Systems LLC (June 2017), and FSPCA Preventative Controls for Human Food from the Institute for Food Safety & Health (IFSH) (August 2016).
