Lauren Wu has diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Lauren started their career as a Youth Commissioner at Multnomah County in 2012. Lauren then held multiple positions at Alpha Epsilon Phi Sorority, including Vice President of Finance and Parents' Club Chair. From 2014 to 2017, they worked as a Research Assistant at The Lenten Season Study, conducting data entry and analysis for a nutritional anthropology study. At UW Medicine, they served as a Student Assistant from 2015 to 2017. Lauren also worked at Business Leaders in Healthcare as the Vice President of Membership. Lauren joined Partners In Health in 2015 and held roles such as Advocacy Lead and President/Team Coordinator of UW Partners in Health Engage. Lauren also served as a National Steering Committee Coach at Partners In Health from 2018 to 2019. At Mitchell Medical Consultants Network, they worked as an Administrative Assistant, IRO Operations, before advancing to roles such as IRO Medical Scheduler/Coordinator and IRO Account Executive. Their most recent role, before joining NuWest Group, was as a Director of Delivery. Lauren also worked as a Delivery Manager, Recruiting Coach, and Travel Nurse Recruiter during their tenure at NuWest Group.

Lauren Wu attended the University of Washington from 2013 to 2017, where they earned their Bachelor's Degree in Medical Anthropology and Global Health. Prior to that, they attended The Catlin Gabel School from 2011 to 2013, and Camas High School from 2009 to 2011.
