Marsilio Adriani

Marsilio Adriani is an accomplished scientist with extensive experience in translational sciences and immunology. Currently serving as Associate Director at Nxera Pharma since February 2022, Marsilio previously held the position of Principal Scientist and Lead Translational Science at 4D Pharma PLC from June 2018 to February 2022. Marsilio has also worked as a Team Leader focused on immunology and bacteria-host interactions during this time. Prior to that, Marsilio was a Research Associate at University College London from June 2012 to June 2018 and a Senior Post-Doc at Johns Hopkins University from November 2010 to May 2012. Marsilio began a career in research as a Visiting Fellow at NIH from October 2005 to October 2010 and obtained a Ph.D. from University of Naples Federico II between October 2003 and March 2007, after completing a degree in Medical Biotechnology and Immunology at Università degli Studi di Napoli Federico II from 1995 to 2001.
