Mya Fekry

Mya Fekry is a highly experienced scientist currently serving as the Lead Scientist at Nxera Pharma since November 2021, following a position as Senior Scientist in Translational Medicine. With a rich history in academia and research, Mya has also contributed as a STEM Ambassador for STEM Learning UK since July 2019, engaging in community outreach to promote STEM education among youth. Previous roles include Advanced Research Assistant at the Wellcome Sanger Institute, Scientist II in In Vitro Gene Engineering at Horizon Discovery, and Associate Lecturer at Anglia Ruskin University, specializing in Life Sciences and Public Services pathways. Mya holds a Ph.D. in Forensic, Cellular and Molecular Toxicology, an MSc in Forensic Science, and a BSc in Biomedical Sciences from Anglia Ruskin University.
