Mette Husbyn

Mette Husbyn has extensive work experience in the pharmaceutical and healthcare industry. Mette is currently working as the CTO at Nykode Therapeutics since October 2017. Prior to this, they served as the Head of CMC at Lytix Biopharma from April 2012 to October 2017. Before joining Lytix Biopharma, they held various managerial positions at GE Healthcare, including Department Manager of Analytical Development and Documentation from January 2011 to March 2012, and Department Manager from January 2004 to January 2011. Mette began their career as a Research Scientist at Nycomed Bioreg from 1990 to 1997 and as an Analytical Scientist at Nordisk Analyse Center from 1988 to 1990.

Mette Husbyn completed their education in Organic Chemistry at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) from 1983 to 1987, earning a degree known as "Siv ing." Following that, they pursued a PhD in Peptide synthesis, anti thrombotics, and in vitro assays at the University of Oslo (UiO) from 1997 to 2003.
