Melissa Kirsch

Melissa Kirsch is an assistant editor for lifestyle and culture at The New York Times. Melissa has also worked as a public information intern at the Brooklyn Museum, where they wrote media alerts, press releases, and other publicity materials. As an intern, they also coordinated media previews and developed publicity and cross-promotion strategies with outside cultural organizations.

Melissa Kirsch graduated from Kenyon College with a Bachelor's degree in English Language and Literature/Letters. Melissa then attended New York University, where they studied Arabic and Portuguese.
