Joseph Juliano

Vice Provost for Planning & Academic Operations at New York University

As Vice Provost for Strategic Planning, Joe Juliano assists with planning academic initiatives and oversees special projects related to academic development. Primarily, Mr. Juliano is responsible for university-wide space planning especially as it relates to academic development. As such, he works closely with schools as part of their planning processes and serves as chair of the Space Planning Working Group that is advisory to the Provost. In this role, Mr. Juliano has worked particularly closely with the Office of Global Programs to develop new and existing sites abroad including acquisition of new properties and renovation of facilities.

Mr. Juliano has worked at NYU since 1983 in several roles but most immediately as the Dean of Administration in the Faculty of Arts & Science, along with serving as the Executive Director in the Office of Global Programs. He graduated from Rutgers University in 1980.
