Felicity Gibson

Felicity Gibson has extensive experience in market operations and regulatory compliance within financial institutions. Currently serving as General Manager of Market Operations at NZX Limited since March 2014, Felicity leads the Market Operations team and oversees the clearing businesses for capital and energy markets. Previously, Felicity held roles including Head of Clearing, delivering critical market infrastructure services, and Team Leader for Issuer Regulation, managing legal oversight for listed issuers. Felicity has also worked at the Financial Conduct Authority as an Associate in the Markets Division, and at HSBC as a Legal Consultant. Additional experience includes a position as a Solicitor at the Financial Markets Authority in New Zealand and various roles in volunteer organizations. Felicity earned an LLB/BA in Geography from the University of Otago and completed legal professional studies at the Institute of Professional Legal Studies.
