Terry Jones is a seasoned computer scientist with extensive experience in research and project management at Oak Ridge National Laboratory since 2008, where responsibilities include leading research activities, developing proposals, and promoting innovative R&D initiatives. As Principal Investigator for the UNITY Project, Terry Jones focuses on creating a smart runtime system for complex memory management, in addition to overseeing ORNL's distributed timing systems and participating in the IEEE 1588 committee. Prior experience includes a 21-year tenure at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory. Terry Jones holds a Master of Science in Computer Science from Stanford University and a Bachelor of Science in Physics from Southwestern Oklahoma State University.
