Lisa Sentgerath

Agriscience Instructor at OAKLAND SCHOOLS

Lisa Sentgerath is an experienced educator with a strong background in agriscience and environmental education. Since August 2010, Lisa has served as an Agriscience Instructor at Oakland Schools, developing urban agriculture curriculum and teaching students about natural resources, horticulture, animal science, and soil science. Previous roles include Instructional Technician, where Lisa focused on curriculum development and student facilitation, and teaching positions at Oakland Opportunity Academy and Waterford School District, where Lisa engaged alternative education students and taught a variety of subjects. Lisa's educational qualifications include a certification in Education from Western Michigan University and a BS and MA in Curriculum & Teaching from Michigan State University. Additionally, Lisa is currently pursuing further studies at North Carolina State University.
