Michel Guerreiro

Michel Guerreiro has worked in a variety of roles in the hospitality industry since 2013. In 2013, they began as a Sales Coordinator at Hilton Vilamoura As Cascatas Golf Resort & Spa. Michel then moved to Waldorf Astoria Ras Al Khaimah in 2014 as a Sales Executive, where they were responsible for building and maintaining relationships with customers and writing, presenting and negotiating proposals for events. In 2016, they became a Sales Executive at Jumeirah Group, where they advised customers and assisted them in developing events for one or more hotels. In 2017, they took on a Sales Executive role at Hilton Amsterdam, where they were responsible for responding to customer enquiries, creating proposals for events and providing additional information. In 2018, they became an Account Executive at JAA Training Organisation, where they built and maintained relationships with 35+ accounts, identified and fulfilled their training requirements, and proactively pitched, presented and managed all aspects of taking a deal to closure. In 2020, they took on an Account Manager role at Secret Escapes, where they developed and maintained relationships with 30+ accounts, negotiated the best rates for a wide range of travel products, and was responsible for growing revenue for France, Germany, Austria, Poland and Middle East territories. Most recently, in 2021, they began as a Customer Success Manager at Oaky.

Michel Guerreiro obtained a BSc in Tourism Management from Universidade do Algarve in 2013. In 2014, they attended the Hilton Worldwide University School of Sales and obtained a Sales Techniques certification. In 2015, they attended the same school and obtained an Effective Showround Techniques certification. In 2016, they attended Conference Converter and obtained Sales Skills Training mentored by Ciara Feely. In 2018, they attended JAA Training Organisation and obtained an Introduction to Aviation Regulations certification. In 2019, they attended Dale Carnegie Training and obtained a Winning with Relationship Selling certification.
