Annamarie Burke has a solid work experience in the field of human resources. Annamarie started their career as an HR Assistant at The Radisson Blu Farnham Estate Golf & Spa Resort in 2014, where they were responsible for recruitment, selection, reference checking, and maintaining employee relations. Annamarie also dealt with disciplinary and grievance procedures and wrote the terms of employment and contracts for new employees.

In 2016, Annamarie joined Obelisk as a Human Resources Officer. In this role, they contributed to the development of HR strategies and plans, provided support in implementing HR policies and processes, and acted as a point of contact for HR-related queries. Annamarie also managed recruitment and selection, drafted employment contracts, conducted HR inductions, and managed performance management, holidays, and absenteeism.

More recently, Annamarie has taken on the position of People and Culture Manager at Obelisk. Annamarie continues to provide HR support and guidance, while also taking on additional responsibilities related to creating a positive work culture within the company.

Annamarie Burke completed their education from 2001 to 2006 at the Convent of Mercy Ballymahon, where they earned a leaving certificate. Annamarie then attended Dundalk Institute of Technology from 2011 to 2013, obtaining a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) with a focus on Business Administration and Management, General. Annamarie continued their studies at Dundalk Institute of Technology from 2013 to 2014, completing a BBS Honours degree in Business.
