Wasif Kamavat

Wasif Kamavat has worked in the engineering field since 2014. Wasif began their career as a Junior Design Engineer at Rishi Laser Ltd, where they were responsible for specifying dimensions, materials, and procedures for new products, using specialised software such as AutoCAD, Pro-E and Catia to create models and drawings of products, and constructing prototypes and confirming designs with the design/purchasing team. Wasif then moved to Flatworld Solutions in 2019 as an Engineer - Mechanical Services, where they were responsible for creating a production design package for manufacturing units using SolidWorks Tool, creating nesting for fabrication purposes, and determining the most efficient nesting of single and multiple part nests. In 2020, Wasif Kamavat joined SIMPLEX METAL PROCESSORS (INDIA) PRIVATE LIMITED as an Engineer - Design and Development, where they designed and developed chassis frame for one on the leading electric two wheeler scooter, developed various tooling needed for developing the electric vehicle chassis component, and was actively involved in Research and Development for electric scooter chassis' material selection. Most recently, they have been working as a Senior Design Engineer at Oben Electric since 2022, where they design new engineering products and processes, crafts models and drawings of products using CAD, and is responsible for analysing prototype data and retesting if needed.

Wasif Kamavat obtained their High School Certificate in 2008 from St John Higher Secondary School in Indore Area, India, studying Maths, Science, Languages and Social Studies. In 2010, they obtained their Senior Secondary Certificate from St John High Secondary School in Indore Area, India, studying Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry. In 2010, Wasif Kamavat began their Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering at Truba College of Engineering & Technology in Indore Bypass Road, Kailod Kartal, Indore-452020, and obtained their degree in 2014. In 2011, Wasif obtained a CAD/CAM certification from DCS.
