Stephan D. Meyer

Stephan D. Meyer is a co-founder and Chief Legal Officer at Obligate, where they focus on utilizing blockchain technology to streamline bond issuance. With a background in law and technology, they have served as a lecturer at various institutions, including ZHAW School of Management and Law and the University of Lucerne, specializing in blockchain, smart contracts, and compliance management. Previously, they held significant roles at Generali and were involved in a Swiss National Science Foundation project researching blockchain and law. Meyer also has military experience as a Major in the Swiss Army, advising on legal aspects of armed conflicts. They hold a doctorate in law and have completed advanced executive education at the University of Oxford.
