Varun Nathan

Varun Nathan is a seasoned data scientist and machine learning expert with extensive experience in various prestigious companies. Currently serving as a Staff Machine Learning Scientist at Observe.AI since January 2021, Varun has held roles ranging from Lead Machine Learning Engineer to Senior Machine Learning Engineer, focusing on model training, experimentation, and deployment. Varun's previous tenure at Amazon as an Applied Scientist II involved work in recommendation systems and natural language processing. At Freshworks Inc., Varun led initiatives to develop information-retrieval based chatbots and enhance speech transcription quality. Varun's career began at Kabbage, where credit risk models and marketing analytics were key responsibilities, and also included experience at Hewlett-Packard in campaign analytics. Varun holds a Master's Degree in Statistics and Analytics from IISc and a Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering from Anna University.
