Caroline Spruill

Caroline Spruill has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Caroline currently serves as the Director of Internal Communications at Ocean Conservancy since 2023. Previously, they held various positions at The Nature Conservancy, including Director of Internal Communications, Interim Director of Internal Communications, Associate Director of Internal Communications, Senior Manager of Leadership Communications, and Communications Manager for Global Ocean & Climate. Caroline has also worked as a Communications and Engagement Consultant at The World Bank, in admissions at Hobart and William Smith Colleges, as an Intern in the Energy and Environment sector at the Center for American Progress and SeaWeb, and as an Intern in the House Select Committee on Energy Independence and Global Warming within the U.S. House of Representatives.

Caroline Spruill completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science, International Environmental Policy, and American Studies at Hobart and William Smith Colleges from 2008 to 2012. Prior to that, they attended Stone Ridge School of the Sacred Heart from 2004 to 2008, although no specific degree or field of study was mentioned for this period. In addition to their formal education, Caroline Spruill obtained a certification in the Women's Leadership Program from the Yale School of Management Executive Education in July 2022.
