Sally Casey

Sally Casey has extensive work experience in the technology industry. Sally is currently the Chief Technology Officer at both Ocean Software and Cyberhive Technologies. Prior to their current roles, they worked as the Group Manager for Digital Solutions & Products at Deakin University from 2018 to 2021. Before that, Sally served as the CTO & General Manager at Iconyx Pty Ltd from 2009 to 2018, where they expanded the business and developed new solutions. Sally also worked at Telstra as a Software Assurance Change Management Consultant for nine months in 2008. Sally's career began at Agilent Technologies in 2000, where they held various roles in R&D projects, customer support, technical consulting, and IT management. Sally also worked at HP for nine years, focusing on project management, research, and product development.

Sally Casey attended the University of Melbourne from 1987 to 1991, where they pursued a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Electrical, Electronic & IT, as well as a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Computer Science. Their field of study focused on Computer Engineering. In addition to their formal education, Sally also obtained two certifications from Deakin University: the Vice-Chancellor's Award for Outstanding Contributions to Value in November 2019 and November 2018.
