Austin Rief

Austin Rief is a seasoned entrepreneur and executive with extensive experience in media and operational talent acquisition. Currently a Co-Owner at Oceans since May 2023, Rief focuses on hiring talent in Sri Lanka to support startups globally. Prior to this, Rief served as the Chief Executive Officer and Chief Operating Officer of Morning Brew, a new media company that educates over one million readers with daily business news. Rief also has experience in investment banking as an Incoming Investment Banking Summer Analyst at Moelis & Company and held an International Education Intern position at StarTau Tel Aviv University Entrepreneurship Center. Rief holds a Bachelor's Degree in Finance from the University of Michigan - Stephen M. Ross School of Business, completed in 2017.
