Paul Cheek has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Paul has held various roles at different companies, showcasing their expertise in entrepreneurship, technology, and management.

Starting in 2012, Paul Cheek founded and served as the CTO at tab, a company that specializes in an undisclosed field. Simultaneously, they served as the Technical Operations lead at Brewsees Eyewear and MASS Electronic Dance Music Community (MASS EDMC). In these positions, they demonstrated their technical skills and ability to contribute to the operational success of the organizations.

Moving forward, Paul Cheek joined WhatsUpNetworks as the Chief Technology Officer in 2012, where their responsibilities include overseeing the technical aspects of the company. Paul then went on to work as an Independent Consultant at BlackRock in 2015, showcasing their expertise in an advisory capacity.

In 2016, Paul Cheek founded Work Today, Inc. and served as the CTO. Paul played a pivotal role in establishing the world's largest labor marketplace, growing it from scratch to 50,000 workers. Paul expanded the marketplace nationwide, implemented sales systems, and managed the development of a scalable SMS-based jobs platform.

Continuing their entrepreneurial journey, Paul Cheek founded Oceanworks® in 2019, where they served as the Co-Founder and CTO. Paul was responsible for the company's technological direction and played a key role in its growth. Paul also held the position of VP of Engineering until January 2021.

Paul Cheek's expertise in technology and entrepreneurship led him to join LogMeIn as an Innovation and Engineering Consultant in 2017, further showcasing their skills in driving innovation and engineering solutions.

In 2020, Paul Cheek became a part of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), serving as both the Hacker in Residence and the Entrepreneur in Residence. Paul then took on the role of Executive Director of the Martin Trust Center for MIT Entrepreneurship in 2022, where they oversee the center's operations and supports MIT entrepreneurs.

Additionally, Paul Cheek joined the MIT Sloan School of Management in 2020 as a Lecturer, teaching the "Venture Creation Tactics" course, and later became a Senior Lecturer in 2022.

Throughout their career, Paul Cheek has demonstrated a strong entrepreneurial spirit, technological expertise, and a passion for teaching and mentoring aspiring entrepreneurs.

Paul Cheek attended Bentley University from 2010 to 2014, where they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Entrepreneurial Studies, and Computer Information Systems. Prior to their university education, they attended Wellesley High School from 2006 to 2010. In addition to their formal education, Paul Cheek holds a certification as a Titanium Certified Application Developer from Appcelerator.
