Emmanuel Petiot has held various positions in the corporate world since 1996. Their career began at Air Liquide Europe where they served as Sales and Marketing Manager, Europe from 1996 to 2000. During this time, they were responsible for a product management and customer service team and coordinated and motivated the European sales network. Emmanuel also negotiated sales agreements with key accounts on a corporate level, resulting in a 15% increase in turnover and 20% improvement in operating income. Emmanuel also held the roles of Project Manager (Germany) and Product Manager (UK, Scotland) during their time at Air Liquide Europe.

From 2000 to 2004, Emmanuel Petiot worked at The Dow Chemical Company, where they held the roles of Marketing Manager, Europe and Key Account and Distribution Manager. Emmanuel then moved to Novozymes North America Inc. where they served as Sales Director, Director and Site President, Global Business Development Manager, and Regional Marketing Manager from 2004 to 2013.

In 2013, Emmanuel Petiot became the CEO of Deinove, an innovative 62-people biotech company listed on Euronext Growth operating in the ingredients and antibiotics fields. During their time there, they defined the strategy, the BP and conducted direct negotiations with all key partners in cosmetics, food and feed. Emmanuel also developed the ingredients portfolio strategy with a strong focus on R&D and marketing, and was responsible for close control of all financial, accounting and stock-related aspects. Emmanuel also led the executive committee (R&D, HR, Project Management, Finance, Operations, Communication and Marketing) and raised 51 M€ for the company.

Most recently, Emmanuel Petiot has been the Managing Director, Vegetable Oils at OLVEA since 2020, and the Chief Business Officer at Octarine since 2021.

Emmanuel Petiot attended CentraleSupélec from 1995 to 1996, where they obtained a Mastère in Technology and Management. Prior to that, they studied Marketing at EDHEC Business School from 1992 to 1995. Emmanuel also attended Chaville, Lycée Hoche, and Prépa HEC, but no degree was obtained from these institutions.
