Mayur Choudhary

Mayur Choudhary is a seasoned scientist with a focus on oncology and cancer biology. Currently serving as a Principal Scientist at Ocuphire Pharma since April 2024, Choudhary previously held the position of Senior Scientist at Opus Genetics from March 2022 to April 2024. Prior experience includes a role as a Senior Research Associate at Duke University School of Medicine from September 2017 to March 2022 and as a Postdoctoral Fellow at Duke University Medical Center from July 2012 to August 2017. Mayur began academic training as a Graduate Student at Wake Forest University from August 2006 to June 2012, earning a PhD in Oncology and Cancer Biology, after obtaining a Bachelor of Technology in Biotechnology from Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University between 2002 and 2006. Additionally, Choudhary gained experience as a Graduate Student Intern at the Office of Technology Asset Management from 2008 to 2010.
