Eddie McDermott

Eddie McDermott is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in piping engineering and design. Currently serving as the Lead Piping Engineer at Odfjell Technology since September 2024, Eddie previously held significant roles such as Engineering Design Lead at Tronox and Lead Piping Engineer at On Line Design & Engineering Limited. Eddie's career also includes positions as Project Manager at BioAtlantis Ltd and Piping Engineer at RDS - Drilling Engineering Specialists, among others. Eddie began expertise development at Odfjell Drilling (UK) Ltd, where roles included Senior Piping Engineer and Senior Piping Designer. Eddie holds a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Mechanical Engineering from Robert Gordon University, completed between 2011 and 2013.
