Mehedi Hassan

Mehedi Hassan has a diverse work experience in product design and branding. Mehedi started working as a Product Designer at Off2Class in 2022, where they designed and launched a relationship-driven product redesign. Mehedi also conducted research studies and synthesized insights that impacted product strategy and design. Prior to that, Mehedi worked as the CEO and Principal Designer at Dtmotion, where they designed, developed, manufactured, and launched over 200 products. Mehedi also crafted brand identity and developed product roadmap and strategy. In 2022, Mehedi also worked as a UX Mentor at Chegg Inc., where they provided technical and professional support to students in online video sessions. Mehedi worked as a Lead Product Designer at ReconnectCare, redesigning the web application and user flows for a digital care app. Mehedi also gained experience as a Product Designer at Laguna Labs and Ethereal Engine, where they contributed to web development projects. Mehedi started their career as a Graphic Designer, working with various agencies and studios and taking on solo projects in responsive site design, web design, motion design, and logo design.

Mehedi Hassan's education history includes a Bachelor of Science - BS degree in Human Computer Interaction (HCI) from the Georgia Institute of Technology, which was completed remotely from 2018 to 2019. During the same year, they also took an Introduction to User Experience Principles and Processes course at the University of Michigan - School of Information. In 2019, Mehedi pursued a degree in Rapid Prototyping with a focus on Industrial and Product Design through the Google Creative Campus, again completing the program remotely. Mehedi is currently studying for a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics at Chittagong College, which began in 2019 and is expected to be completed in 2023.

In addition to their formal education, Mehedi has obtained several certifications. Mehedi completed mentorship sessions and earned the certifications "1 Mentorship Sessions" and "100 Mentorship Minutes" from adplist.org in January 2023. In July 2021, they obtained the "Enterprise Design Thinking" certification from IBM. In April 2020, they earned the certification for "Programming in HTML5 with JavaScript and CSS3" from freeCodeCamp. Prior to that, in January 2020, they completed the "Introduction to Programming Using HTML and CSS" certification from freeCodeCamp. In May 2019, they obtained the "Certified User Experience Analyst (CXA)" certification from FutureLearn. Lastly, in March 2018, they obtained the "Art Director, Graphic Designer" certification in Graphic Design.
