Amanda le

Amanda Le is an experienced legal professional currently serving as Legal Counsel at the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada since October 2022. Prior to this role, Amanda was a Legal Policy Specialist at Shopify from July 2021 to September 2022 and worked as an Associate Lawyer at Nelligan Law from January 2019 to June 2021. During an earlier tenure at Nelligan Law, Amanda completed a student-at-law position. Additional experience includes editorial leadership as Editor-in-Chief at the Ottawa Law Review and various positions related to litigation support and recruitment at Global Affairs Canada and NATO Headquarters. Amanda holds a Juris Doctor from the University of Ottawa, a Master of Science in Business Studies from the University of Amsterdam, and a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting from McGill University.
