Tina Schmieder-Gaite

Tina Schmieder-Gaite's work experience includes roles as a Policy Manager at Ofgem since 2021. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Research Analyst and Project Manager at WRAP from 2016 to 2021. Tina also served as a PhD Researcher at Cardiff University from 2013 to 2019 and as a Researcher at the University of Leeds - Sustainability Research Institute in 2013. Additionally, they worked as an ERDF Project Manager at CO2Sense in 2012 and as a Research Assistant at the University of Leeds in 2011-2012. Tina Lingua was their first independent business endeavor, where they provided translation services and German tuition from 2010 to 2011. Tina also gained experience as a Project Assistant (Student Placement) at co2sense Yorkshire in 2011, and as a PA to the Chief Executive at GDF SUEZ Energy UK from 2009 to 2010. Tina began their career as a PA to the Managing Director at Deutsche Bank AG in 2008.

Tina Schmieder-Gaite completed their education in a chronological manner. Tina started in 2002, attending Euro-Schule Leipzig gGmbH, where they pursued a Diploma in International Administration and Management. Tina then moved on to the University of Hull from 2007 to 2008, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Business. In 2009, they enrolled at the University of Leeds and obtained a Master of Science degree in Sustainability (Environmental Consultancy and Project Management) in 2011. Finally, Tina pursued a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Architecture at Cardiff University / Prifysgol Caerdydd from 2013 to 2019.
