Brenden has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Brenden, Chau Chong started their career as a Design Engineer at Singapore Technologies Kinetics in 1999. Later, they worked as a Senior Executive at Hitachi Chemical, where they managed key customer accounts in the server and PC notebook computer industry. Brenden, Chau Chong also spearheaded business development in Taiwan and China during their tenure.

In 2006, Brenden joined Keteca Singapore Pte Ltd as the Chief Representative (Country Manager), where they had P&L responsibility for the China market. Brenden, Chau Chong achieved a sales CAGR of 64% over 3.5 years through effective team deployment and strategy.

Brenden then interned at Louis Dreyfus Commodities as a Business Development intern, where they analyzed business strategies and created financial models to value M&A target companies.

Next, they joined Olam International Limited as a Commodities Trader in the Natural Fibres Division. Brenden, Chau Chong traded raw cotton commodity between origin and destination markets across Vietnam, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Middle East, and Africa. Brenden, Chau Chong managed a sales book of USD 155 million.

Most recently, Brenden served as the Head of APAC Sales in the Spices Division at ofi Spices since October 2014.

Brenden, Chau Chong Guan has a diverse educational background. Brenden, Chau Chong earned a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Nanyang Technological University Singapore in 1999. Later, in 2002, they obtained a Post Graduate Diploma in Financial Management from the Singapore Institute of Management. In 2010, they completed an MBA degree in Finance, General at the Singapore Management University.
