Ricardo de Matos Camarinha

Ricardo de Matos Camarinha is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in project management and engineering, currently serving as the Head of Project Management Office for European Offshore Business at Øglænd System Group since April 2024. In addition, Ricardo has been a Research Co-supervisor and Tutor at BIM A+ since September 2019, guiding students in the European Masters in Building Information Modeling. Previously, positions included Digital Services Project Manager at Hilti Group, Executive Committee Member at BIMTEC, and Operations Manager at BIMTEC, where significant contributions were made to high-value design-build projects. Earlier career achievements include establishing Eight Engenharia & Tecnologia and serving as a Lecturer at Instituto Superior Técnico. Ricardo holds multiple advanced degrees, including MBAs from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business and the University of Cape Town, and is currently pursuing a degree in Construction Law and Dispute Resolution at Leeds Beckett University.
