Kaleb Andre' Broussard, RHIA

Kaleb Andre' Broussard, RHIA, has a diverse work experience that spans various industries and roles. Starting in 2013, they completed management internships at the University of South Alabama Health and Louisiana State University School of Veterinary Medicine, gaining valuable experience in client services, pharmacy operations, and administrative tasks. In 2014, they worked as a call center representative at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center, where they provided patient meals and learned about call center operations. Moving forward, Kaleb worked as an interim health referral and marketing representative at Spine & Body Physical Therapy & Wellness, utilizing their passion for sales and marketing to promote the clinic's services. In 2016, they became an account representative at CORE Health Networks, where they served as a liaison between medical offices and contracted companies to maintain healthy workplace environments.

In 2017, Kaleb took on the role of the Health Information Management Coordinator at Champion Medical Center Baton Rouge, where they established and managed the Health Information Management Department. Kaleb Andre' also worked as a canine coach at Dogtopia, where they provided daycare, grooming, and boarding services for dogs.

In 2018, Kaleb joined Oceans Healthcare as the Director of Health Information Management and HIPAA Compliance Officer. In this role, they were responsible for physician credentialing, chart auditing, release of information, and ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.

In 2019, Kaleb served as the Interim Health Information Management Director at Oglethorpe, Inc, where they assisted with recruiting an RHIA and prepared the department for a Joint Commission survey.

Throughout their various roles, Kaleb has demonstrated strong leadership skills, taking on responsibilities such as supervising employees, organizing marketing events, and providing one-on-one appointments for medical record completion. Kaleb Andre''sexperiences have allowed him to develop a well-rounded skillset in health information management, HIPAA compliance, and customer service.

Kaleb Andre' Broussard, RHIA has a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Information Management from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. Kaleb Andre' attended the university from 2008 to 2013. Prior to that, Kaleb attended North Vermilion High School in Maurice, LA from 2004 to 2008. In addition to their degree, they have obtained the RHIA certification from AHIMA in May 2013.
