Matt Duesterberg

Matt Duesterberg is the current President at OhmConnect, and has been with the company for 8 years and 10 months. Matt has also held the positions of CRO and CEO/Co-Founder during their time with OhmConnect. OhmConnect is a company that pays users to save energy, and they act as a virtual power plant that replaces fossil fuel power plants and help balance the grid. Prior to their work with OhmConnect, Matt was the CTO for a solar data analytics company called kWh analytics, where they were responsible for the technical full stack and led the DOE SunShot application. Before that, they were the Lead Analytic Consultant for DataRaker (which was acquired by Oracle), where they led the data analytic team to create new statistical methods of identifying business opportunities for utility clients.

Matt Duesterberg attended Stanford University from 2009 to 2010, where they studied mechanical engineering with a concentration in energy systems and environmental resources. Matt then attended the University of Virginia from 2002 to 2006, where they studied chemical engineering.
