Sergio B.

Sergio B. has a wide range of work experience in the telecommunications industry. Sergio started their career in 1995 as a Telecommunications Technician at Telemar, where they worked on the installation and repair of fixed and data lines. Sergio then moved on to become a Telecommunications Analyst, specializing in operational indicators and designing processes for the telecommunications access network.

In 2004, Sergio joined Oi/Telemar as an IT Specialist, responsible for analyzing business requirements and developing processes and systems for the Services Management Center. Sergio also served as an IT Manager, overseeing the requirements management of over 160 systems, and an IT OSS Operations Manager, managing the maintenance, support, and development of over 57 systems.

In 2012, they joined GVT as an IT System Senior Manager, leading a team responsible for IT projects in the areas of engineering and operations. During their time at GVT, Sergio worked on a Workforce Management Project based on Software as a Service.

Sergio then returned to Oi in 2013, taking on various roles including Senior Engineering Project Manager, where they managed engineering and IT projects, implemented the FTTH Service Fulfillment Project, and oversaw software factories that outsourced development. Sergio later became an IT Director in Systems Development and Projects, Architecture, Quality and Governance, and is currently serving as the Head of Information Technology.
