James Hall

James Hall has a diverse work experience, starting with their current role as Founder & Executive Chair at Embedded Insurance, Inc., where they lead a team that offers customized and valuable insurance solutions. In 2022, they also founded and holds the position of Executive Chair at Oka, The Carbon Insurance Company. Prior to these ventures, they served as an Associate Fellow and later as an Executive Director at Saïd Business School, University of Oxford. In 2019, they founded and served as CEO of Salty Dot, Inc., an Embedded Insurance® technology company. James was also the Founder & Executive Chairman of Insurance Point from 2007 to 2015. Before that, they served as the CEO of Children's Miracle Network Hospitals from 2006 to 2008 and founded EBenefits Solutions in 2005.

James Hall completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Business at Westminster College. James then pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) and a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree at Saïd Business School, University of Oxford, with the MBA completed in 2011 and the PhD completed in 2015.
