Zain Eisa

Head Of Analytics at Okadoc

Zain Eisa has worked in various roles in the healthcare and technology sectors since 2013. In 2021, they were appointed Head of Analytics at Okadoc, a fast-growing B2B/B2C SaaS start-up based in UAE, Indonesia and Saudi Arabia. In this role, they have been responsible for leading the Data and Analytics function and building a data team, as well as using Microsoft Azure Cloud platform to build data infrastructure.

Prior to this, in 2020 they volunteered as a Data Scientist at NHSX, where they used TensorFlow (Python) to help identify COVID-19 with x-ray images of the lung. In 2017, they were appointed Deputy Head of Business Intelligence at NHS England, where they automated financial accounting processes using Power Query/Power BI/SQL and worked with various consultancies to generate savings of £33m through data-centric reconciliations.

From 2015-2021, Zain held various roles at Barts Health NHS Trust, West London Mental Health NHS Trust, St Georges Healthcare NHS Trust, and Princess Alexandra Hospital NHS Trust. These roles included Business & Performance Analyst, Data Manager, Business Analyst, and Data Quality Analyst. Zain also worked as an Information Analyst at West Herts NHS Trust, and a Mathematics and Statistics assistant at Sir John Cass Foundation and Red Coat School.

Zain Eisa has an extensive education history. Zain obtained a Master of Science (MSc) in Biomaterials and Tissue Engineering from UCL in 2012, and a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) in Medical Engineering from Queen Mary University of London in 2011. Zain also has a variety of certifications, including Advanced Statistical Methods in Python, Deep Learning with Tensor Flow 2.0, Intro to Data and Data Science, SQL, Tableau and Python, The Python Programming Bootcamp, Microsoft Power BI, Developing SQL Databases, SQL Functions and Syntax Tutorials, Excel 2007: Advanced Formulas and Functions, Excel 2007: Creating Charts with Dynamic Data, Excel 2007: Macro, Excel 2007: Pivot Tables For Data Analysis, Excel 2010: Working with Dates and Times, SQL 2008: Essential Training, and TS: SQL Server 2008, Implementation and Maintenance (MCTS).
