Jessica Valek

Jessica Valek is a Coastal Resource Coordinator at Okaloosa County since March 2021, bringing valuable experience from previous roles as an Environmental Specialist at the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission and a Research Assistant at the Florida Institute for Human and Machine Cognition. Jessica's expertise in marine biology includes conducting field research and monitoring marine environments, with skills developed through various research assistant positions at the University of West Florida. In addition, Jessica has worked as a Server at the Pensacola Yacht Club Inc and gained hands-on experience as a Biological Monitor for Ecological Consulting Services. Jessica holds a Bachelor's degree in Marine Biology from the University of West Florida, earned between 2014 and 2016.
