Kelley Barnes

Vice President, Community Engagement at Oklahoma City Community Foundation

Kelley Barnes has a diverse work experience in the field of community engagement and development. Kelley has held multiple roles with various organizations throughout their career.

In 1996, Kelley joined the Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma as a Development Director, where they contributed to the organization's fundraising efforts for three years.

In 1999, they moved on to become the Director of Development at Allied Arts OKC.

Starting from 2002, Kelley served as the Director of Advancement and Administration at the National Dance Institute of New Mexico for a decade. In this role, they oversaw resource development, marketing, government relations, and board administration. Kelley successfully led fundraising efforts that generated over $60 million in annual, capital, endowment, and legacy gifts.

Kelley then joined the Myriad Gardens Foundation in 2012 as the Director of Development. Kelley played a significant role in transitioning the organization from a city entity to a public/private partnership. Kelley's responsibilities included creating and leading the development department, increasing support, designing a comprehensive fundraising program, special events, and membership programs.

Since 2015, Kelley has been actively involved with the Oklahoma City Community Foundation. Kelley started as the Development and Donor Services Manager and eventually became the Director and Vice President of Community Engagement. In their current role, they lead community engagement initiatives and oversees donor services.

Throughout their career, Kelley Barnes has consistently demonstrated expertise in fundraising, development, and community engagement, making significant contributions to the organizations they have worked with.

Kelley Barnes obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Art History and Business Management from Franklin College in Switzerland. Kelley attended the college from 1987 to 1992.
