Nicholas Thurman

Nicholas Thurman serves as an Assistant District Attorney for both Pontotoc County and the Canadian County Children's Justice Center since 2019 and 2015, respectively. Nicholas has held positions as a Licensed Legal Intern at Oklahoma City University and the Oklahoma County District Attorney Office from January 2015. Prior experience includes working as an Attorney At Law at Smith Simmons, PLLC, handling civil litigation, family law, and criminal matters from January 2018 to February 2021, as well as law clerk roles at the Honolulu Prosecutor's Office and Mahaffey & Gore, PC. Nicholas obtained a Doctor of Law (J.D.) from Oklahoma City University School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in History from Southwestern Oklahoma State University.
