Carlos Jaquez has a diverse work experience in the construction and landscaping industry. Carlos started their career as a Superintendent Intern at CORE, where they effectively coordinated day-to-day operations and managed up to 20 subcontractors. At McCarthy Building Companies, Inc., they worked as a Project Intern, reviewing and processing submittals, conducting safety walks, and coordinating subcontractor meetings. As a Landscape Manager at Manuel's Landscaping, Carlos demonstrated their skills in managing landscapes and overseeing the maintenance of the property. Carlos then joined Briston Construction, LLC, as a Project Engineer and Quality Control Manager, where they developed and implemented quality control plans, coordinated with field staff and third-party inspectors, and handled documentation control. Currently, Carlos is working as a Project Engineer at Okland Construction.
Carlos Jaquez obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Management and Technology from Arizona State University. Carlos attended the university from 2017 to 2020. In addition to their degree, Carlos has also obtained several certifications. In November 2017, they completed the 30-Hour Construction Safety and Health certification from the Occupational Safety and Health Administration. In January 2021, they became Procore Certified as a student from Procore Technologies. Most recently, in August 2021, they obtained the Construction Quality Management For Contractors certification from Kugan & Associates.
