Sander Bollen

Sander Bollen has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Sander currently works at OKRA.ai as an AI Solutions Architect, where they have been since 2019. In this position, they are responsible for architecting and implementing backend web applications in Python and PostgreSQL, as well as geospatial applications using Python and PostGIS.

Prior to that, Sander worked at Leiden University Medical Center as a Bioinformatician/Scientific programmer from 2014 to 2019. Sander Bollen obtained a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Cancer Genomics & Developmental Biology from Utrecht University, where they studied from 2011 to 2014. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) degree in Biomedical Sciences at Zuyd Hogeschool | Zuyd University of Applied Sciences from 2007 to 2011. Their education journey began in 2002 at Porta Mosana, where they spent five years, although the specific degree or field of study pursued during that time is unknown.
