Mathew Drake

Mathew Drake began their work experience as a Practical Trainee at Intercontinental Hotel and Resort Aphrodite in 2008. Mathew then worked as a Part Time Employee at Kasteel De Hoogevuursche from 2009 to 2010. From 2010 to 2011, they were an All-Round Part Time Employee at De Bijkeuken. In 2011, they became an Assistant VIP Services at The Armory Show. In 2012, they worked as a Barkeeper at Café Hoppe. From 2013 to 2017, they held various positions at Nidera including Internal Market Trader, Operational Risk Analyst, and Soybean Trader. In 2017, they joined Olam as a Soybean Trader and later became the General Manager Oilseeds from 2021 to 2023. Currently, they are the Vice President & Senior Trader at Olam Agri.

Mathew Drake attended NYU Stern School of Business in 2012 for a summer course in Accounting. Mathew then pursued a Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management from Hotelschool The Hague from 2007 to 2012. Prior to that, their education history at Rijnlands Lyceum Wassenaar is unknown. In terms of additional certifications, Mathew obtained certifications in Entrepreneurial Finance, Technology, and Alternative Finance, and Foundations of Finance from the Amsterdam Institute of Finance in 2017.
