Daniel Hogan

Daniel Hogan, P.E. is a highly experienced professional in the fields of civil engineering and design, currently serving as Senior Vice President of Design at BL Harbert International LLC since August 2016. Hogan has held various leadership positions, including Vice President and Design Director, and has also contributed academically as an Adjunct Assistant Professor at Old Dominion University since January 2024. Previous experience includes strategic project management roles at the United Nations and the U.S. Department of State, along with earlier positions in research and teaching, and civil engineering. Hogan holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Civil Engineering from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering Technology from Old Dominion University. Additional roles include serving as an appointee to the Fairfax County Public Schools Facilities Planning Advisory Council.
