Kathe Doremus

Kathe Doremus has a diverse work experience in the banking and mortgage industry. From 2019 to present, they have been working as the Vice President of Residential Lending at Old Second National Bank. Prior to this, they served as the Branch Sales Manager of Retail Mortgage Lending at MB Financial Bank from 2015 to 2022. Kathe also worked as a Mortgage Originator at American Chartered Bank from 2014 to 2015 and as the Vice President/Residential Mortgage Manager at State Bank of Illinois from 2011 to 2014. Additionally, they held the positions of Vice President of Mortgage Lending at Inland Bank and Trust from 2009 to 2011 and Senior Mortgage Loan Consultant at Community Bank Wheaton Glen Ellyn from 2006 to 2009. Kathe was also a Senior Vice President at GreatBank from 2006 to 2007. Furthermore, Kathe served as a Board Member at DuPage Homeownership from 2008 to 2016 and as the President of the Board of Education at Community High School District 94 from 2007 to 2010. Kathe also served as a Board Member at the Illinois Mortgage Bankers Association from 2008 to 2009.

Kathe Doremus pursued their education in English Literature at the University of Colorado Boulder, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree from 1978 to 1980. Prior to that, they attended Triton College from 1974 to 1977, where they earned an Associate's degree in English and Psychology.
