Regis Lecornet

Regis LECORNET has extensive work experience in the field of cloud computing, particularly in AWS DevSecOps roles. Beginning in 2023, Regis worked at Olea Medical as an AWS DevSecOps Technical Lead, where they established a robust cloud technical foundation and provided a Move-to-Cloud strategy path to the CIO. Prior to this, Regis worked at Thales Solutions Asia Pte. Ltd. as a Cyber Security Lead from 2022 to 2022. From 2001 to 2022, they worked at Gemalto (now Thales Digital Identity & Security) in various roles, including AWS DevSecOps Engineer and AWS Cloud Support/Dev Engineer. During their time at Gemalto, Regis was responsible for maintaining internal serverless security solutions, building risk management reporting systems, and troubleshooting networking interconnectivity. Before joining Gemalto, Regis worked at Logica as a Web Specialist Architect in 2001 and at OCP Repartition as a Web Production Specialist Architect from 1999 to 2000. Their earlier experiences include working as an IT Support Specialist at Banque Populaire from 1997 to 1999 and as an IT Trainer at Formatic from 1994 to 1997, where they taught Microsoft products to various industries.

Regis LECORNET completed their B.T.S Informatique Industrielle (Computer Science) from Lycee Jean-Perrin in Marseille, France, in 1993. Prior to that, they obtained a Baccalauréat F1 Construction Mécanique (Industrial Mechanics and Maintenance Technology) from the same school in 1990. From 1981 to 1986, they attended Ecole Europeenne in Oxfordshire, United Kingdom. In terms of additional certifications, they obtained the AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate and AWS Certified Developer – Associate certifications from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in 2023. Additionally, in 2018, they achieved the AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate certification from AWS. Regis also holds various AWS industry quest and cloud quest certifications, including AWS Certified Security – Specialty and HashiCorp Certified: Terraform Associate.
