Ben and David have been working together for nearly a decade to find accessible solutions to bring the benefits of digestive health to as many consumers as possible.  OLIPOP is a deliciously refreshing tonic that is crafted with prebiotics, botanicals, and natural plant fiber to support your microbiome and benefit digestive health. We're on a mission to provide an affordable, delicious alternative to soda that delivers leading-edge health benefits to mainstream consumers.

THE ROLE


We’re currently looking for a VP, Creative & Communications. In this role, you’ll oversee the entire creative process, from ideation to final execution, to ensure that our projects drive business results and align with our brand identity.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement a comprehensive, insights-based creative strategy that aligns with the company's overall marketing goals and brand vision.
  • Lead and inspire a team of designers, writers, photographers and content creators, fostering a collaborative and engaging work environment.
  • Budget Management: Manage the creative department's budget effectively, ensuring resources are allocated efficiently to maximize campaign impact.
  • Industry Expertise: Stay current with emerging trends, technologies, and best practices in the CPG industry, across linear, digital, and social media platforms, adapting strategies and tactics as needed.
  • Analytics & Performance: track key KPIs across the creative and communications teams to showcase overall company objectives and contributions
  • Oversee external agency vetting, performance management and deliverables.
  • Partner closely with the VP Brand to oversee multiple projects simultaneously, aligning on the scope of initiatives, allocating resources effectively, and ensuring the team meets deadlines for deliverables.
  • Drive the creative development process, from brainstorming sessions to concept presentations, ensuring that ideas are innovative, on-brand, and aligned with marketing briefs.
  • Provide clear direction and feedback to designers and other team members, guiding the development of visual assets that resonate with our target audience.
  • Ensure consistency in brand messaging, visual identity, and tone across all assets and customer touchpoints.
  • Demonstrate expertise in digital, social, and offline media channels and how creative communications are shifting in the marketplace.
  • Actively lead, mentor, and develop our amazing team; support ongoing career growth within the company.

REQUIREMENTS

  • 12+ years of experience in advertising & design
  • 6+ years of people leadership experience with a strong track record of building and leading creative teams to be effective
  • An inherent passion for data, performance metrics, and creative problem-solving, with the ultimate objective of driving business goals forward
  • Track record of evolving brands and taking fresh and innovative ideas from concept toe execution; a progressive approach to design and isn’t afraid to push boundaries
  • Media industry, media sales experience 
  • Proven experience leading innovative and best in class creative
